No one 2001: A Space Odyssey more than the Dave Man, daddy. But one question remains...just what the Sam Hill was the monolith? I'm assuming that it was some kind of alien technology that assists the human species in evolving to reach their maximum potential. Hmm. I think I just answered my own question. Space-mystery solved!
