Go ahead.  Treat yourself to something nice on this sunny Saturday.  You deserve it.  You're a winner.  Trust me, daddy.  I've seen a lot of winners in my day...and you are at the tippy top of that Winners Pyramid.  I say you have some ice cream.  I DON'T GIVE A DAMN WHAT TIME OF DAY IT IS, HAVE SOME ICE CREAM!!!

RIP, Gene Wilder. 1933 - 2016.

I can't possibly articulate in any human language how important Gene Wilder was in my life.  But, dammit, I'll give it a try right here.  Willy Wonka was the very first character, for me, that combined humor with surrealism with unpredictability in a way that was both fun yet dangerous...providing for an absolutely exhilarating combination.  Even though I host my own shows on WRAT 95.9 and on Compound Media which delve into the world of comedy from time to time, I am certainly not a comedian.  I do not look up to stand-ups; nor do I have a Comedy Hall Of Fame in my heart.  My heroes are usually athletes, musicians, actors, writers, and directors.  Except Gene Wilder (and Steve Martin).  Gene was gloriously weird and fantastic.  Yes, he could be hilarious.  But there was also something in those Wilder eyes that made him seem unhinged and even scary (in a fantastically fun way).  He was the best...and will be missed.

Boy, that headline seems ominous.  It's not meant to be, dogsie.  What we meant to say was, "Galactic domination is within our reaches and soon our POWER shall take over and we shall rule supremely."  That is all.

Its The Season Finale Of "The Night Of" And We're Pumped!

We recently went on an HBO Go binge where we dominated the first SEVEN episodes of the spectacular mini-series, "The Night Of", in ONE day.  That is a record.  We looked it up.  This'll be the first time, in fact, where we'll be watching the show on HBO proper rather than HBO Go!!  Hahahahahahaha!!!  We don't even know why we're laughing!!!  Hey!!  Is there a lack of oxygen in this room?!?!  Does anyone else smell gas and-------------------------------------

A Night Of Champions!

My God, did we have a good time last night.  Comedian extraordinaire and host of the New York City Crime Report, Pat Dixon, threw a party in my honor last night*.  After Mr. Dixon and his lovely wife, the talented Mandy Stadtmiller, learned that I had been verified on Twitter, they decided to congratulate me with quite the soiree.**  I'd like to thank all those who came to pay homage to the Dave Man***.....you're all aces!!!!

We're Getting Rowdy Today...Whether They Like It Not.

We're gonna head into the local 7-11 and overfill the Slurpee cup until the delicious Cherry-Coke-Slurpee is one, big, massive puggle of liquid, sugary goodness on the floor.  Then, we shall get on our hands and knees and begin licking up said Slurpee like the wild dog that we are.  No rules today, daddy.  Have a good one.
