Yessir! The Davey Mac Sports Program was representing with maximum intensity at Anthony Cumia's illustrious gala for the Anthony Cumia Show! And by "representing", I mean hovering awkwardly over Anthony in a threatening manner like a duo of creeps (see attached photo). A great time was had by all! The future is a bright one, my homies!

That damned Giants-Cowboys game was an A-grade, colossal screw-up at the end. And in a night where the Giants should have emerged victorious, Tony Romo and his slimy, degenerate, Cowboy punks leave the field, smiling like Internet identity thieves. I may never be the same. Oh yeah, dogsie! The New York Football Giants' Fifty For Fifty Journey has begun! If you have no idea what I'm talking about, I'll explain right now. On my various radio programs (Carl & Dave on WRAT, 95.9 FM and the Davey Mac Sports Program) and Social Media, I have predicted that the Giants will win Super Bowl 50 or I'll give all of you fifty bucks. The latter is NOT true. I can't afford to give all of you 50 Russian rubles, let alone proper U.S. dollars. I will, however, attempt to offer you good vibes should I not win my bet. Indeed, the only person that I will be paying is Carl, because I sit three feet across from him every weekday, and it would be weird if I didn't. Anyways, happy football season! May your teams find success (except when they play mine)! Good day!

...Yessir. Nothing wakes you up quite like the WWE Network at full volume at six in the morning. I woke up to hear a Kurt Angle match playing louder than a 1976 Who concert...my little guy was watching the wrestling...and...oh, hell...I decided to join the televised match-up in the squared circle! Kurt Angle from the top ropes...oh! "Stone Cold" moves out fo the way! He gets Angle to his feet and- BAM! A "Stone Cold" Stunner! One-Two-Three! It's over! Steve Austin wins!
Well, maybe...maybe not. But I do know that I sit here, all alone in the darkness, at five o'clock and change in the morning, studying my new Star Wars action figure book ("Star Wars: The Ultimate Action Figure Collection" by Steve Sansweet) in the same way that Indy examines his archaeology texts before going on a quest. Currently, I'm in the Darth Vader section. I particularly like the one where the mask comes off to reveal that it is Luke underneath (from the fantasy sequence in The Empire Strikes Back; lower right hand corner). May the Force be with you!

Unlike the Pittsburgh Steelers' coaches from last night, my headset is working just fine (the Steelers are claiming that in their game against the Patriots, the only thing that they could hear is the Pats' radio broadcast...here we go again). I posted one of those Twitter "Throwback Thursday" pictures this morning........only to realize that it's still Wednesday. Honest to goodness mistake. Anyway, I still like the pic...so I'm putting it up here on ESDC as well. This is from 2012, only seconds after the Giants won another Super Bowl over Tom Brady and the Patriots. And that is me grabbing ESPN anchor Chris Berman's neck and drunkenly yelling "Brady sucks!" in his ear. It made Deadspin. The Giants won the Super Bowl. And the Dave Man was pleased. All hail rock 'n' roll.
