Solo: A Star Wars Story is an action-packed and mega-fun flick that is very much for the casual fan as it is for Star Wars diehards!   And since Siskel & Ebert can no longer sue anybody...I'm giving it two thumbs up!!   Go see it!

SOLO: A STAR WARS STORY Is Today!

Oh, YES!!   Better strap in, Leia's and Jedi-men!!   Because Solo: A Star Wars Story is out today and the Dave Man is going to the first viewing!   And I better get my Solo commemorative dice that I paid an extra fifteen dollars for!   This past December, I paid an extra ten bucks to AMC Theatres for a souvenir poster for the premier of The Last Jedi...only to have AMC tell me that they never had the posters in stock!!   Don't make me take my blaster out, AMC!!   Having said that...punch it, Chewie!!

Stanley Mac & Davey Mac Throw Out The First Pitch!

The Dave Man & the Stan Man would like to thank the wonderful minor league baseball team, the Lakewood BlueClaws, for allowing us to throw out the first pitch yesterday!   And thanks to my radio station, WRAT 95.9 FM, for setting it up!   Stanley told me where to pitch, and I executed to the best of my ability.   After I threw my blazing, southpaw fastball, I asked the elderly guy with the radar gun how much speed I had on my heater.   "You hit 106 miles per hour on the gun, Mr. David," is what the old man said.   He then told me that he had witnessed every pitcher from Walter Johnson to Bob Feller to Sandy Koufax...and that I was by far the greatest that he had ever seen.   Some people call me "The Natural".   I call myself "East Side" Dave McDonald.   Have a nice day, America.
