With all of this Carrie Fisher sadness, and the fact that the world seems to be exploding as we speak, let us have just one, simple objective today...make it out alive.  So tie your shoes, look both ways before crossing the street, don't run with scissors, and wait 45 minutes after eating before you go swimming.  Sunday begins 2017.  Our goal: get to Sunday.  Have a great day, Dave Pound...but not too great...we don't want your heart to get too excited.

Carrie Fisher. 1956 - 2016.

We are so very sad to hear of the passing of the great Carrie Fisher...accomplished writer, actress, and all-around dynamic woman.  Carrie was an incredible, creative artist who will be missed by millions of people across the globe.  As Princess (and then General) Leia Organa Skywalker, she was never a damsel in distress.  Instead, she was a powerful, cunning, brazen warrior who believed in good triumphing over evil...a true hero.  May the Force be with you, Carrie!

Rogue One ROCKED...In My Jedi Opinion!

You will find NO SPOILERS here so chillax, dogsie.  But let me just say that if you're a Star Wars fans, I think you will adore Rogue One as I did.  I felt that the movie was a love letter to the greatest cinematic Saga ever...as well as its supporters.  Filled with amazing visuals and some truly jaw-dropping cameos, Rogue One hits the mark, daddy.  Now go out there and see the film!  And may the Force be with you!

Comedy 101.......More Like Awesomeness 202!

It was magic-personified last night in New York City's The Stand...as friends, enemies, and homies were brought together in one action-packed night of glory and chaos.  The room was dark...yet lit with the electricity of Ron and Gail Bennington, Anthony Cumia, Pat Dixon, and "East Side" Dave McDonald...all of whom were gathered as one for the excellent show...Comedy 101.  Thank you to the Benningtons for putting on such a great show; and another thank you to all of those who attended (the audience was absolutely phenomenal).  And if you weren't there, you missed history being made on the level of the Moon Landing, the Americans beating the Russians in the '80 Winter Olympics, and the return of Full House to TV's everywhere.  PS - I'm really high as I write this.
