RIP, Meadowlark Lemon.

If there was one talented basketball-playing sleuth (besides Curly Neal), his name was Meadowlark Lemon.  Lemon was a member of the Harlem Globetrotters and also solved multiple crimes with the Scooby Doo gang.  Plus, I once saw him play a game of one-on-one against Shaggy and he beat that dope-head 136 to 2.  RIP, Meadowlark!

Do You Have A New Year's Resolution?

I don't.  Not yet anyway.  But I was thinking of giving up Sour Patch Kids.  They're so sugary, and sweet, and mouth-watering, and DELICIOUS.  Oh, who am I kidding...Sour Patch Kids are here to stay in 2016 and there's nothing you can do about it!

Oh, Giants, You're Killing Me...

No Super Bowl 50 for the Giants.  Sadly, I was totally confident that the G-Men would take it all this season because, under Tom Coughlin, they win the Super Bowl every four years.  They won 42, they won 46, and this year was 50...but, alas, they fell short.  I mean, they fell Verne Troyer short, dogsie.  Oh well. Have a great week anyway, Dave Pound!

My Star Wars Shrine Is Now On Galactic Levels.

Take a look at that bad boy.  And that's only a THIRD of it.  It sits right under my HD TV where I am currently playing Star Wars Battlefront.  In your face, ISIS.  You don't have awesomeness like this.

Merry Christmas And Happy Holidays And Whatnot!

I hope you guys got everything that you possibly wished for...even if that means a giant robot that can shoot lasers out of his eyes (I'm pretty sure that they're currently being made by Hasbro).  Have an EXCELLENT holiday season and let the good times roll, dogsie!  I'm so happy, I'm gonna punch myself in the ear!  Peace!

I Hear Sleigh Bells! Yes, I Do!

I think I hear Santa's sleigh bells in the sky as we speak!  It's either that or my concussion symptoms are back!  You know, when I was a kid, all I wanted from Santa was a pony.  My very own pony that I would call Tony.  Tony the Pony.  Yeah......yup.......it's official......my concussion symptoms are back.  Anyway, here's hoping you have the very best of holidays!

Ah, yes...it's the Series Finales, if you will, of the legendary Davey Mac Sports Program and The Watchers!  And both shows can be found on this site!  First up, the last hoorah for our monthly, movie show...The Watchers...where we devote the special to the new Star Wars movie and to saying goodbye!  Listen NOW in The Watchers section on this site!

The New Star Wars Movie Is Epic And Awesome.

Man alive, I am still buzzing off of a viewing of Star Wars: The Force Awakens.  I saw the film last night at the Monmouth Mall and can only think of these great, new characters and story-lines.  Don't fret, Dave Pound, I shan't give out any spoilers.  You deserve to treat yourself to a fresh Star Wars movie as much as anyone.  I will say, however, that the picture works on every, single level.  The script was interesting, surprisingly funny, and unpredictable.  The actors (both the old and new generation) did a tremendous job.  The visuals are incredible.  The music (of course by John Williams) was amazing.  And J.J. Abrams directed the poop out of it.  In summation, I'm thinking of somehow growing extra thumbs on my hands so I can declare that Star Wars: The Force Awakens gets thirty thumbs up!  Have a great weekend!
